Shopworks Central London Retail Store Tour

In May 2025, Shopworks hosted another successful curated retail store tour through Central London that brought together retail leaders to evaluate standout store concepts across the capital and to inspire new thinking around customer experience, store format innovation, and category excellence.

We showcased market-leading retail execution across a range of categories, highlighting how global and local brands are rethinking experience delivery, premiumisation, and storytelling to deepen customer connection and drive value.

Tour highlights included:

• Fortitude Bakehouse: A masterclass in authenticity and craftsmanship. With a focus on handmade, seasonal baking delivered straight from the oven, Fortitude demonstrates how transparency, creativity, and process visibility can elevate a bakery into a destination.

• Amorino Gelato: Retail theatre at its finest. Amorino’s flower-shaped gelato and generous sampling model exemplify what it means to own a category with confidence. Their product presentation creates a sense of occasion, reinforcing brand memorability.

• Roasting Plant Coffee: A tech-forward twist on coffee retail. The Javabot system which roasts, grinds and brews on demand offers more than just freshness. It delivers a sensory experience and brand narrative that captures customer attention from the moment they walk into the store.

• HEYTEA: An emerging premium beverage leader from China making waves in the UK. With slick retail design, digital ordering journeys, and a well-considered tiered product offer that includes pure tea and ‘grown up’ bubble tea, HEYTEA is redefining what modern drinks retail can look and feel like.
