DStv new flagship customer experience store concept

DStv is a direct broadcast satellite service, owned by MultiChoice. With an offer that extends to more than 200 television and audio/radio stations, DStv currently has 20.1million subscribers across sub Saharan Africa.

Working in collaboration with VisualFusion! and Design Partnership Group in South Africa, Shopworks have been responsible for the strategic development, design and implementation of the Customer Experience Centre.

We created an environment where every stage of the customer journey – from consideration, to sign up, use resolution and advocacy – could be completely and uniquely supported.

Whether an active customer, a new subscriber or just an interested passer-by there is something to spark curiosity and delight in every visitor to the flagship Customer Experience Centre.

Visitors are encouraged to discover a world of entertainment through immersive, inspiring content lounge displays, experience pods and accessible demonstration areas. A large screen designed to attract attention from outside the store broadcasts a range of live content continuously, throughout the day

In the centre of the store there is a Solutions Bar staffed by experts that provide concierge-style support for customers wanting to learn more about DStv content bouquets, hardware or delivery services.

Upstairs there is a Customer Service Centre where complex technical queries can be discussed with an expert DStv colleague in comfort.

The whole project was conceived, conducted and completed remotely and via Zoom! during the pandemic with only two formal face to face meetings across the whole project.
